Strawberry Fields Forever and ever....

Well, I have now finished Strawberries by LHN twice!

However, despite all my best efforts, I am not perfect and there are slight variations in each version - I do read the pattern carefully but somehow that human error creeps in!

Strawberries - Take Two:

Strawberries - Take One:

Can you see where I have made the mistakes?

Strawberries Take One (left) and Take Two (right) side by side:

Both of these are destined to be gifts, so I hope that the recipients don't mind that I am not entirely perfect!

hugs,

They both look great Kaye. I think the last 20 finishes that I have had boo boos in them. Nobody will know if you don't tell them. As I say, they are my own unique version.

I think they are both lovely and will make gorgeous gifts. We are all so hard on ourselves when it comes to our own work. hugs......

Kaye the general opinion seems to be that you are the only one seeing the mistake. They both look so sweet, very lovely stitching...

They both look lovely Kaye. If there is a mistake, who cares? You have made them with love.

I think they both look lovely. Patterns are starting points, you don't have to follow them rigidly. I think of the line from the Pirates of the Carribean movie "They're more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules"

All I see is that you didn't stitch 6 red x's in the top portion of take one. Omissions not mistakes : )
They look great!

Wow, I have never stitched the same design twice. Great job that you have done here. And no, I haven't seen any mistakes and haven't searched for them, lol.

The only difference I can see is the two triangles with 3 little dots in the top border. I couldn't see any kind of mistakes! They are both lovely!

The rabbits look like rabbits, the strawberries look like strawberries so it's all good for me!!

We are reading Watership Down at the moment. It is very exciting but why do the does have such hard to pronounce names - Hyzenthalay and Thethuninang (there may be some more letters in that one!)
