I have an idea!

A few year's ago, I used to take part in a Christmas Ornie SAL, run along much the same lines as Jo's Hallowe'en Ornie SAL is now.  I love this Hallowe'en Ornie SAL as it gives me some focus on stitching and finishing some Hallowe'en stitching and I used to love taking part in the Christmas one, too.

So, I would like to start a new Christmas Ornie SAL for the rest of 2015 and hopefully for 2016, too.

It would work like this:
Each month we would stitch a Christmas Ornie on a theme.  For example, trees or santa or presents or snowmen or words, etc, with a free choice month thrown in here or there.

Now, as we still have over four months to Christmas, I do not think it is too late to start this year, with the aim of running it again in 2016.

There will be no check in post as such, just a post by the end of the month if you have a Christmas Ornie finished for that month.  You can opt in or out as you like.

If you join, you will be given sign up rights on the blog, so you just post when you are ready.

What do you all think?  Do you want to join in the fun?

I really only need one or two other people to get started (it would be a bit lonely on my own - lol!).

Just comment on this post and we will go from there.

Also, if you do not have a blog but want to take part, I am happy to post on your behalf - just send me your pics and some commentary and that would work well - I am thinking of you Anna!

... and there may even by a prize or two given out randomly by me some months.

Come on. what more could you ask for?  lol!

Looking forward to some elves joining me,  and just to whet your appetite, here is a sweet little pillow which I plan to stuff tonight for FNwF.

hugs,

I will definitely follow the blog and will give it a go too. There are so many designs in the JCS mags I like. This might be just the push to do them!

I would love to do this with you! I don't have a blog or camera. So I will need to have one of my children or GC send pics for me, LOL!

I seem to have lost my cross stitching mojo this year, so this may just be the thing to get me started again. Count me in.

I would also love to participate if it's not too late. I love stitching for Christmas.
