Hi everyone,
First of all I wanted to share with you my latest baking effort. On the weekend, we had some dear friends over for dinner and I baked this Apple-Raspberry Pie, I was particularly pleased with the lattice on the top.
The other item I wanted to share was Heaven and Earth Designs (HAED) which I have just discovered by reading some other cross-stitcher blogs - their designs are just amazing! If you haven't heard of them, check them out at http://heavenandearthdesigns.com
I will post some more WIP and Kitten pics tomorrow.
Bye for now, Kaye xoxox

Love apple and
Raspberry pie and your looks delicious!
Why can't we have smelloblog or tasty-blogs so we can really appreciate the cooking?
I can follow you now, it seems it was a problem with Blogger (another one!) which can be worked round.
I love the HAEDs but I'm not a fan of that way of stitching. I prefer my Mirabilias! Good Luck if you do start one, I love to see someone else stitching them!
Thanks, Gracie, it was yummy!
@Jo, glad that you can now follow me! yes, smell or taste o vision would be great - then we could really share. Mirabilias are gorgeous, too, I think. But i am really tempted by some of these designs - especially the Hans Holbein portrait of Henry VIII.
If I do start one, you will certainly see it on my blog.
cheers, Kaye xoxox
The pies looks wonderful! Wish I had time to stitch, I used to stitch constantly.
save me a piece of that pie and I'll be right over!!
Gill in Canada
@Gill, it is just warm and waiting for you - only a 18 hour or so flight (maybe more, I am not sure) from where you are to Melbourne, Australia. lol
Your pie looks scrummy! Aren't the HAED designs fantastic.. They are super addictive, although I am yet to tackle one myself I have a couple in my stash and drool over the website on a regular basis! One day....

@Noni, thanks - the pie was delish! Yes, HAED is addictive - so many beautiful designs to choose from. Which one do you have in your stash?
@Iowa gardening woman, why did you stop? I have checked out your blog and your photos are amazing!
