Lovely Day.....

.... first of all I received some lovely stitchy packages in the mail.

First off was the Travelling Pattern, 'Life's a Stitch"by Lizzie Kate - boy, is this one well-travelled pattern! It was sent to me by the lovely Simona in Italy.

... and you can see from this doc that it has been travelling the world.
Canada, South Africa, France, America, Finland, UAR, UK, Italy and now Australia.  I wonder where it will go next?
It may be you! When I finish it I will post for the next Travelling Patterner.

Simona is such a sweetie, she noticed from my blog that I sort of like cats - lol! So, she sent me this sweet duo of cat patterns from an Italian designer, Paolo Gattiblu.

Aren't they so cute?

Then, the lovely Marcy, sent me this gorgeous Halloween Ornament as part of the Halloween Ornament Exchange.  I really love it.  Thank you, Marcy.

Then, when I ducked out to my LNS today, Lazy Daisy, look what was waiting for me. The 2014 JCS Christmas Ornaments mag.  Boy, have I been waiting for this to come.  So, I am going to drink that cup of coffee that you see in the pic and have a good look at it.  What fun!

Just to finish off, here are the first of the roses from my garden.  It looks like it is going to be a good year for them.

Lastly, don't forget to check out my Favourite Films of All Time Giveaway, here.

Reading my mag now, hugs

Jo's 500 Follower Blog Hop

Our darling Jo from Serendipitous Stitching has come up with a clever idea to celebrate achieving 500 followers.  Those of us who wished to take part have been assigned a fellow blogger to write a post about.  How cool is that?

I was given Rosey from Ishkabibble.

Rosey has a very sweet blog where she displays her equally sweet stitching.  She does not have a huge number of followers, yet, so please pop over to her blog and become one if you have not already done so.

As part of the Blog Hop we were also asked to choose a photo of a stitched piece which we thought suits our person.  I chose this very early stitched piece of mine, a cross stitched doll, which I made for my goddaughter many years ago.

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed this blog hop, don't forget to have a look out for all of the other Jo's 500 Follower Blog Hops happening around the blogosphere.

And, of course, congratulations to our dear Jo. 500 followers, how awesome!

hugs,
