Lots of stitchy news.....

This week, I stitched some more on Henry for my Tudor Tuesday SAL - you can check out our mini FB group here, if you like.

I had a Happy Dance:

My Snowflake Tree is complete - I am so chuffed by how well this turned out.

I also had a Stash Empire delivery.....  Nine A Mon Ami Pierre designs, each is so very lovely!

For some reason I was really drawn to start this one - I think it is because I like that little boy in the top right corner.

Here is the floss toss:

... and here is my progress after one session (Wed night)

and here is where I am up to now (early Sunday morning):

and last on the stitching front, here is my current train stitch - a Halloween Freebie (origin unknown) for my Halloween Ornie Stitching SAL.

... and here is Furio snuggling up into my elbow as I stitch (that grey part is my arm).  He is so cute.  Last night he was all snuggled up next to me, purring away and dozing whilst TraderVic and I were watching Klondike.  All of a sudden, on the show,  there were wolves howling, poor Furio sits up, ears pricked, looking all around for the danger!

Enjoy your Sunday, I am off for an early morning walk with my dear friend, Marie (on whose behalf I must send thanks to so many of you who sent prayers and good wishes her way - she is doing really well on the chemo) and then later my DD and I are going shopping (her shopping, me financing - lol!) at the local shopping mall.

So clever.....

One of my History authors sent me this great picture of a poster from the London Underground - isn't it clever?   (.... and you all know how passionate I am about the Tudors)

...and here is a kitten pic. No, not Furio, but this is Chili. Chili is the fur baby of one of my work colleagues.  You must agree that Chili has quite a commanding presence!

IHSW update

A most productive weekend was had by me, myself and I this weekend.  I caught up with friends, had lunch with DS1 (who moved out of home just before we left for the U.S.), did lots of baking and lots of stitching.  I would have to say that my IHSW was a great success!  How was yours?

Here is my stitching progress on Cinderella:

I also had another baking day on Sunday:
Beef Bourguignon

Finger Buns
Then, Sunday evening, as I settled down to work on my Sunday SAL with Linda and Debbie, I realised that I didn't know where I had oh so carefully put my 12 Days of Santas!!!!  (Sorry Linda an Debbie) So, as I had mentally moved away from Cindy for the evening - I put in a few stitches on Henry VIII and his six wives

I hope that everyone else's IHSW was as productive as mine,

Have a great week everyone,

hugs,
