Belated announcement: The Winners!

Yes, I am a bit slow, I know but my busy life just seems to get in the way of my blogging sometimes!!!!!  But without further ado, the winners are:

Overseas Winner:

Noemi from Wagapapa Creations.  Congratulations, Noemi, you must have the luck of the Irish because I think that this is about the 3rd or 4th of my Giveaways that you have won! I am pretty sure that I already have your address but I will email you to let you know that you have won.  This is what you have won, but there is one more element to come - which has to do with the pom poms on my last pic of the post.  An Aussie handtowel, a needle book made by me and a little book of affirmations.

Australian Winner is Christine M of MacDonald's Patch, You have also won an Aussie handtowel, a needle book made by me and a little book of affirmations.  But, there is also a pom pom related gift to come!  Christine, I am not sure that I have your snailmail address, so please email me on KayeDeP@gmail.com and let me know what it is.

Noemi and Christine, I am about to leave for a conference so I won't have time to finish off the final items for your packages this week so I will post next Monday - sorry about the delay.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all of you lovely bloggers who entered my giveaway.  Keep an eye on my blog - there may be another one soon!

Now, onto some stitchy progress.  Here is my before photo of The Faerie Queene:

... and this is what I managed to get done yesterday ... I am pretty pleased with how it is coming along.

... and here is my February TUSAL - this mont's ORTs include lots from my Travelling Pattern - Summer Garden (the dark pinks) and lots of blues from the needle books I have been making.

Lastly, I bought a "flat" pom pom maker and I have made these little pom poms which I am going to make into scissor fobs.  With the Clover pom pom maker tool - it is so fun and easy!

Well, that is me for now, I am off to a conference this week (in Melbourne) but I still get to stay at the Grand Hyatt - lovely.  However, these conferences are very busy, so I will probably be off line for most of the week.

hugs,

P.S. I just received an overseas package from Sarah in Stitches - I won her giveaway.  No time to even open it now as I am about to leave for the conference but thank you so much, Sarah.

Such lovely gifts!

In regards to scissor fobs, I just bought a whole schwack of bead leashes off of ebay - seriously, 50 of them for under $2. So I will be making fobs, maybe for giveaways, who knows! But you've definitely given me ideas.....
