Sorry all, but I only seem to be able to contact Debra Butler (who won my Liberty Lane Pattern Giveaway) by posting here as she is a no-reply commenter who does not seem to have a blog and her direct emails do not seem to be getting through to me. So, please forgive me and you are quite welcome not to read further.
Debra, you are a no-reply commenter, which means that I cannot email you back directly. Also, even though I have added you to my Google+ circles, you do not seem to have any direct activity there.
I have not received the direct email which you sent with your snail mail address so I do not know how else to contact you, except by this post. Could you please email me again and maybe if you are on Facebook you could "friend" me, this way we could private message each other re your address. You can find a link to my FB account on the sidebar of my blog.
I hope that you see this message as I truly do not know how else to contact you.
cheers,

Help please....
You may all remember that a few posts ago I announced that Debra Butler had won my Liberty Lane pattern?
Well, Debra is a no reply commenter and even though I tracked her to Google + (which I hate, by the way - just confuses me!) and became a follower she does not seem to have a blog and she has not emailed me since I announced that she won (obviously she missed the post).
I am hoping that someone knows Debra and could let her know to get in touch with me as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will have to redraw the giveaway for the pattern.
If you need some further context, the two relevant posts are here and here.
.... on a stitchy note, last night was Tudor Tuesday SAL night, so for some strange reason I decided to pick up a BAP and stitch HAED's Ophelia (one of several HAED Ophelia's I own).
Now, I have drawn a long bow here with stitching her for the Tudor Tuesday SAL - this is my reasoning:
Ophelia is a Shakespearean character (from Hamlet), Shakespeare was an Elizabethan playwright, Elizabeth I was a TUDOR monarch!
Works for me! lol!
Now, the first pic is what I stitched when I started this piece on 13 JANUARY, 2011!!!!!!
This next pic is last night's progress: (sorry for some reason it is rotated 90 degrees to the left)
So, wish me luck with this - if I only stitch on it once every 3 and a half years, I wonder how long will it take to finish it? lol!
I have a big presentation at work this afternoon to Senior Management - so wish me luck!
hugs,

Day 4 Done and Dusted.....
Sunday, 15 June 2014
Lots of stitchy news.....
This week, I stitched some more on Henry for my Tudor Tuesday SAL - you can check out our mini FB group here, if you like.
I also had a Stash Empire delivery..... Nine A Mon Ami Pierre designs, each is so very lovely!
For some reason I was really drawn to start this one - I think it is because I like that little boy in the top right corner.
Here is the floss toss:
... and here is my progress after one session (Wed night)
and last on the stitching front, here is my current train stitch - a Halloween Freebie (origin unknown) for my Halloween Ornie Stitching SAL.
... and here is Furio snuggling up into my elbow as I stitch (that grey part is my arm). He is so cute. Last night he was all snuggled up next to me, purring away and dozing whilst TraderVic and I were watching Klondike. All of a sudden, on the show, there were wolves howling, poor Furio sits up, ears pricked, looking all around for the danger!
Enjoy your Sunday, I am off for an early morning walk with my dear friend, Marie (on whose behalf I must send thanks to so many of you who sent prayers and good wishes her way - she is doing really well on the chemo) and then later my DD and I are going shopping (her shopping, me financing - lol!) at the local shopping mall.
hugs,
I had a Happy Dance:
My Snowflake Tree is complete - I am so chuffed by how well this turned out.

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy Oy!
Just up early (not too early luckily) watching Australia's first game in the World Cup ..... against Chile!
Oh boy! We don't have Buckley's of winning!
Oh boy! We don't have Buckley's of winning!
Oh well, we will all support them anyway (oh, I just heard the commentator say that Australia have NEVER beaten Chile in a game of soccer, oh dear!).
Have a great day everyone and next post I will announce my "Liberty Lane" winner - if you haven't joined in the fun yet, you can check it out on this post here as I will draw a name after the soccer game.
Wish us luck!

FNWF for June
How did you all go last night with Friday Night with Friends?
I worked on this Snowflake tree, which is a freebie from Stickeule (I will update this post with a link when I get to my computer (using Blogger App on my iPhone here atm). UPDATED: this is the link to Renate's Winter Freebies. They are all gorgeous and well worth checking out.
Here is where I was up to before last night's stitching session.
... And this is after a full evening's stitching:
The fabbie is a 32 ct, sea green overdue (from The Crafty Kitten, I think) and I am using DMC B5200 for the snowflakes and CC La Tierra for the tree.
I am very happy with the delicate tracery of the snowflakes.
Can't wait to see what everyone else worked on last night.
Hugs, Kaye
P.S. If you would like to own the "Liberty Lane" pattern, please comment on this post here, you have until Friday, 13th to join in the fun.

Happy Daaaannnceeee!
I am so thrilled, Cornflower finally arrived at my LNS and I was able to finish the "L" and half an "I" on "Liberty Lane" Yay and Double Yay!
I so loved stitching on this piece. So much so, that I would love to share the joy. So, if you would like a chance to stitch "Liberty Lane" by Country Cottage Needlework, just comment on this post telling me that you would like to stitch it and I will send one of you the pattern. I will keep this open until next Friday, 13th June. (You do not have to be a follower, although it would be nice if you became one if you are not already and I will post worldwide).
Anyway, do you want to see some pics?
