Help please....

You may all remember that a few posts ago I announced that Debra Butler had won my Liberty Lane pattern?

Well, Debra is a no reply commenter and even though I tracked her to Google + (which I hate, by the way - just confuses me!) and became a follower she does not seem to have a blog and she has not emailed me since I announced that she won (obviously she missed the post).

I am hoping that someone knows Debra and could let her know to get in touch with me as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will have to redraw the giveaway for the pattern.

If you need some further context, the two relevant posts are here and here.

.... on a stitchy note, last night was Tudor Tuesday SAL night, so for some strange reason I decided to pick up a BAP and stitch HAED's Ophelia (one of several HAED Ophelia's I own).

Now, I have drawn a long bow here with stitching her for the Tudor Tuesday SAL - this is my reasoning:

Ophelia is a Shakespearean character (from Hamlet), Shakespeare was an Elizabethan playwright, Elizabeth I was a TUDOR monarch!

Works for me!  lol!

Now, the first pic is what I stitched when I started this piece on 13 JANUARY, 2011!!!!!!

This next pic is last night's progress: (sorry for some reason it is rotated 90 degrees to the left)

So, wish me luck with this - if I only stitch on it once every 3 and a half years, I wonder how long will it take to finish it?  lol!

I have a big presentation at work this afternoon to Senior Management - so wish me luck!

hugs,

I hope that you can get a hold of her BUT if she doesn't respond to you within a time frame of your choice, then select another person. I look forward to seeing your progress on stitching this beautiful lady. Peace to you. HUGS

Google+ confuses me too. That picture of Ophelia will be a beautiful, even if it takes a few years.

I hate google+. I've had a few people follow my blog from google* and I can't figure out how to follow them back.

My advise about your gift is set a date to be claimed by. If it is not claimed by that date, then do a redraw.

It's frustrating when someone leaves a comment has a no reply address.
Hopefully she will see your post that she won. Ophelia is beautiful.
Good luck with your stitching progress on her.

Not sure how to help with the Google +, I'm not very keen on it. Let's just hope Debra reads your post. Good luck with the presentation. I'm sure you'll be fine :) Have fun with this HAED design, it sure looks wonderful.

I reckon your tudor reasoning makes perfectly reasonable sense Kaye :) HAEDs are beautiful....but soooo fiddly! Hopefully Debra will read your post and get into contact....I haven't figured out Google+ either....think I should ask my kids! :D

It's hard when folks enter giveaways then cannot be contacted when they win; looks like Debra is going to miss out. She has made it hard for you to find her...
Good luck with that stitching, maybe work on it more often?!

Ophelia is looking good so far. I look forward to seeing more of her. Personally I'd just draw another name since she didn't leave a way to contact her.

It's linked! Ophelia is one of my favourite Shakespeare characters. Hopefully she will come forward with information. Google plus is frustrating. I can't reply to anyone using it....argh!, hugs!

The Ophelia will be gorgeous!
I don't understand no-reply and I think that's what I am, too!!!! I've tried to fix it and just can't get it right! I don't understand Google +, either. I guess I should be glad I sat down and figured out how to get my blog going all by myself, even though I think there's a few things that aren't exactly right!!!! I really give up!!! LOL

Yes, you should pull her out more often than every 3-1/2 years! LOL. I have some projects just like that, too! Good thing that Debra found you and claimed her prize!
