No Gong for me this year.....

Last night was the "Oscars" of the educational world - the Educational Publishing Awards Australia (EPAS14) - and my history title was shortlisted, which is quite an achievement.  Unfortunately, though,  I did not win.  C'est la vie.

It was a fun night, nevertheless, and one of our Primary school titles did win, which is really great, so all was not doom and gloom.

The awards ceremony was held in The Queen's room of the State Library of Victoria - a gorgeous Victorian (as in the Queen) building.  I had never been in this part of the library before, so it was a treat to be there.

Wow--that is a gorgeous building and I'm sure you enjoyed being there and exploring! I'm sorry your book didn't win, but you still had a lovely honor! It must have been a fun evening! Congrats!
