Sunday Dog...

Thanks to everyone for their kind words of support after my "down in the dumps" sort of post yesterday.  That, along with the kindness of dear bloggy friends such as Kim, have cheered me up immensely.

Something else that cheers me up immensely is a walk around Princes Park on a fine, crisp late Autumn Sunday morning with my Sunday Dog, Poochie (and my DF, Marie, of course).....

Then an afternoon of blog hopping, knitting, stitching, reading, a few chores and a little TV - now that is a slice of heaven!

What are you all up to on this lovely Sunday?

hugs,

Fresh air, a walk with a friend and a doggie.....I call that food for the soul! I.....baked biscuits, made apple pie jam and now in the process of making a meditteranean rice dish for tea! Happy days!

Sunday's are great for being out and about, unfortunately I am an assignment hanging over my head and an trying to get it finished before the due date.

Sounds idyllic! I am going to be revising, revising, revising all day ... and trying not to get distracted by blog posts or cross stitch for that matter.

Ha! I had to look twice to make sure it was you. Really! I have not seen you with a dog. I am glad Poochie is your Sunday dog. She looks so sweet. :)

Firstly....a huge hug ....I'm glad you're feeling a bit sunnier.
Then....a belated happy 33rd anniversary:) What a gorgeous gift from Trader Vic!
Aren't good neighbors the best? I remember growing up where you played out in the road with the neighborhood kids and everybody knew everybody.....sadly that's not the case today. Seems with "modernisation " we've lost something precious
I'm recovering from my flu so I'm afraid there's not much planned for the day . Will maybe stitch later.....have to get going on Serenity!

So good to read that you are feeling better today. Walking around in nature can be so helpful - and a little doggie as well :)

Glad you are feeling chirpier today. It's IHSW so I've been stitching and watching the first Star Wars film, plus a bit of gardening or trying to keep the small boy from pouring dirt on his head!

The little dog is adorable! Good to hear you sound much more positive - relaxation and doing things you enjoy with the people you like are better than any tonic.

That is exactly what you needed, hon - a little fresh air, a huggy dog, and doing what blesses your heart. It's ok to pamper yourself when you're feeling down, dear heart!

What a gorgeous little puppy! When I'm feeling down, nothing can cheer me up more than a cuddle with my little fella Charlie (American Cocker Spaniel)!
