Now, the earliest post I can find on this blog, Kitten Stitching, which features Santa's 12 Days of Christmas is on May 21, 2012 but I suspect that I started the SAL a few months before that - so this project has taken me over three and a half years to complete. I must admit there were (quite) a few times where I lost interest, lost faith in my ability to finish but I overcame those times and here we are:
I just need to decide now how to Finish each one - any suggestions?
Now, as I am pretty certain that I won't be tackling this project again in a hurry, I want to gift my lightly-used design booklets (three of them, with all twelve designs) to one of you lovely stitchers.
But, I am going to make you work for it! Ha! Ha!
You have to decide which of the 12 days is my favourite - which may be hard as I do love them all but there is one which I particularly love!
So, please leave a comment with your guess either on this post or on the corresponding post on the Prairie Schooler SAL blog and on Monday, 9th November, I will draw a winner from the correct guesses.
Have a great day, everyone,

What a wonderful accomplishment, Kaye!! I'm so glad you didn't give up on them--they are each so handsome... Hmmm...hard to pick my favorite, but I think Day 1 is mine--there is just something to classic about the partridge in the pear tree :) I would love to enter your drawing as this is one set of PS books that I don't own! Thanks for the chance...
Oh, and as far as finishing, I would probably do the same finish on each with some handmade cording surrounding little pillows that you could display in a bowl. But, that's just me--you know how I love my little pillows!!
Oh this is such a wonderful accomplishment - something to treasure forever. It truly is nearly impossible to pick a favorite - I'm going to choose Day 5 - I love the little black doggie! It will be so much fun to find out which one is your favorite.
Best wishes on the finishing - looking forward to seeing that too!
Congrats! They all look great! My favorite is the 4th. I love the pop of the blue. 10 is my second favorite because it has the stars and moon.
What a fantastic effort. They are all wonderful. Such lovely designs. I could not pick a favourite x
number 5!?
I will guess #8...each of them is lovely.
Congratulations! No need to include me but I vote for #6 anyway.
What a great achievement Kaye. They look amazing. The one that stood out to me is number 9, so I'm hoping this one is your fave.
I think #11 congrates on your finish stitching is great hugs Lynda Ruth
Part of me thinks the one with the fox but day 5 with the dog calls to me, too! I go with day 5. Fingers crossed!
Oh!! big congrats, they look awesome
They would be cool finished as a quilt
No need to enter me I have most of them
Love, love , love!!!!!
Congrats on such an amazing finish! Santas are really awesome ♥♥♥
I find them so all beautiful and very particular . I myself find it hard even just to say that myself like best , so how am I supposed to just decide what your favorite motif ist..smile ... I now say simply times the number two ...
wish you a good time
Greetings Sand
Congratulations! What a wonderful achievement. I would finish them as pillows and display in a bowl as Carol suggested.
Please don't include me in your giveaway but just for fun I will guess #11 with the whiskery fox is your favourite.
Congratulation on this wonderful finish.
All the Santas are great.
I would finish a little quilt.
Greetings, Manuela
I also say 11 because of the fox. My favorite is the one with chickens! Maybe finish as pillows to go in a wooden bowl. Beautiful stitching.
Yay! Awesome set Kaye. Please don't include me, but I am guessing your favorite is 10.
Congratulations on a fabulous finish! I love the idea of finishing them as little pillows in a bowl. I know you will enjoy these for years to come:)
Congratulations again on this great finish. I had already seen them on your PS SAL blog. As for the finishing I'd do the same as Carol - little pillows with red cording all around. This is also my favourite finishing. But I'm really curious to see what you will come up with.
Congratulations! They're beautiful! I also think they'd look great as a quilt or quilted wall hanging.
Well done - fabulous finish! They are a wonderful set and would look lovely as a wall hanging of some kind.
Wow , well done yes a quilt or pair of pillows .
They all look wonderful.
Huge congratulations!! I agree they should be kept together if possible since they clearly belong that way. Quilt/afghan or set of ornaments for a metal tree?
What a wonderful collection!! You must be very proud.
Congratulations on an epic Happy Dance! They look amazing together. I think a nice wall hanging would be good.
I like Santa on his day off as a farmer (day 3) but I'm going to guess you like Day 4 with the tropical birds, or maybe Day 11 with the hiding fox?
Don't include me in the draw through. I just had to have a guess!
Wow, Kaye, are all so beautiful !!!
I think you best - 5, a dog :-)))
I love seeing them come to life...beautiful xx
Well done, Kaye. They all look great. You don't need to count me in your draw.
Congratulations on great finish. I think these will look good as single piece of wall hanging.
Congratulations Kaye! That is quite an accomplishment! I know for myself, right now, the first sign of boredom and they are back to the WIP drawer. I think pillow finishes would satisfy me! Hugs!
Woohoo! Happy dance! Congrats on the finishes, they look amazing! I've got enough on my plate right now, unfortunately, so I won't be participating in the draw. Good luck to everyone else! :D
I love them all! Congratulations on the finish! Maybe just little pillows with hangers to hang from the tree? Not sure what your favorite is, but mine might be number 11. :D
