Up, up and away....

This was the view from my kitchen window this morning....

... I love the idea of hot air balloons and one day I would love to go for a ride in one over the gorgeous Yarra Valley but for today, I am glad that I am flying to Byron Bay in a plane instead.

However, seeing the balloons made me think of a few songs, do you remember these?

Up, up and away by the 5th Dimension

... and 99 luftballoons by Nena

but, of course, I am leaving on a jet plane, so here is the incomparable John Denver ....

Have a great day everyone,

hugs,

Oh, what a pretty sight, Kaye! Not sure that I would want to go up in one as I'm afraid of heights...

Those old songs certainly brought back memories :)

So many gallons are a wonderful sight indeed. But for nothing in the world would I enter such a huge basket hanging underneath a huge ballon, lol.
Wishing you a great flight!

That's an impressive sight! I'd love to ride in one as well, in spite of the fact that I'm not crazy about heights.

I have never been up in a balloon. I should put that on a list of things to do.
Glad to see I'm not the only Nena fan, I used to love that song.
