is for
KILLER ANIMALS of AUSTRALIA
Tricked you! You thought that I was going to give you a nice, sweet list of Australian "K"s, didn't you? lol!
Koalas
Kangaroos
Kalgoorlie (where they mine for opals)
Kitten Stitching
Kaye (that's me!)
but no, just watch this video and you will know to be wary of the
KILLER ANIMALS of AUSTRALIA
Now, if you are not sure what The Alphabet Club is all about ....
On the first Saturday of each month, members of the club have "detention" and have to post about something that will enlighten others about their culture (as blogland is so diverse). Of course, there should/could be something stitchy in there, if possible. Each month will be a different letter of the alphabet - hence the club's name - and, of course, we started with "A" and now we are up to "K"
If you want to see what the other detainees have been up to, please have a look here.

Wow. Funny. ;)
And I thought my niece dealt with some scary creatures when she lived in Guam. Funny video, Kaye! : )
Ha I loved the video! "With pee your pants will be filled" LOL
Sir Terry Pratchett summed it up best -
"Almost all animals and plants in XXXX are dangerous; when Death requested a book about the dangerous creatures of XXXX from his library, he was subsequently hit by a large pile of books consisting of the various volumes of "Dangerous Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Birds, Fish, Jellyfish, Insects, Spiders, Crustaceans, Grasses, Trees, Mosses and Lichens of Terror Incognita", the total books going up to Volume 29C Part 3, while a request for information about the harmless creatures merely produced a note saying "Some of the sheep"."
HAHA Kaye!!! Yes....I've read all about your wild and wonderful country....with all its creature that would be out to kill me if I should ever want to set foot on its shores :D Great post!
Fun post! Thanks for the laugh. :D
What a promoting clip for lovely "pets" ;). Hugs.
It's so funny when I sometimes think I'd like to go visit and then I remember I'm completely unprepared to meet anything like that. We don't even have poisonous snakes up here.
Hilarious, absolutely hilarious, Kaye, thanks. Both my husband and me were laughing out loud when watching the video, particularly when the koala was starting its attack.
Obviously the Kangaroo is the most evil, diabolical.
cunning, vicious and dangerous of the bunch!!!
Followed closely after by the Koala. All the others
are merely posers and impostors. Beware of the cute
ones!!!
Thank you for the public service announcement Kaye.
We now return to the regularly scheduled stitching blog!
Cheers!
They do say that you have to watch the cute ones!! :o) Can't wait to see what you come up with next month!!
hugs xx
Enjoyed your K post.
