The sun is shining, the birds are singing....

.... all is bright and beautiful in Roma ... I left you yesterday heading off to have a swim at the local pool.  I was very lucky as I had it almost all to myself.  I spent a good hour swimming laps and running my own water aerobics class, just for me - lol!

... and I was heading back to my son's house, I saw this stunning sunset....

Which, of course, as per the old rhyme...

Red sky at night, Shepherd's delight.....

presaged a gorgeous day today.

I explored this old Anglican Church, St Paul's, it was very beautiful inside.

Then it was off to The Big Rig park, where we played on the swings and fed the ducks, amongst other things.

Imagine a family of eleven living in this three room slab hut? Amazing!

... and finally some stitching - I am currently working on Summer Stitching by LHN - getting close to a finish, I think.

(Sorry for the wrinkled effect).

hugs,

These pictures are amazing - the Red Sky and the Church. The windows are so beautiful. It is always a wonder to me, how much money and time was spent in building these churches.

Wow, nice girlfriend Kaye, a wonderful contribution to today! Reddish sky! I love watching her. Church and vytrážne windows are also beautiful.
The best pool is just for you! I experienced it a few times too. Swimming is also my sport.
I wish you a lovely day!

At least the rain stopped! Gorgeous sky photos and wonderful stained glass windows. I love the double organ too.
And a nice little bit of Summer stitching at the end.
