April Finish for the Christmas Ornament SAL 2013

Hi everyone,

Here is the post for my latest Christmas Ornament SAL 2013 finish:

Well, I didn't end up stitching the Joan Elliott Christmas tree which I thought that I had initially planned to stitch.  I got caught up in all sorts of other stitching and then I saw this sweet tree which Katie finished - see her blog post here - I downloaded the free pattern from here. Quickly chose some lovely linen from my stash and used Cottage Garden Threads "Snapdragon", some gold beads and a pretty green wooden frame  - all from my stash - and in ONE DAY( a record for me) I had my April ornie finished!

Thanks for the inspiration, Katie!

Now, to think about next month's choice - OWN choice - wow!  Where to start?

hugs, Kaye

Oh wow, that is just lovely! I was just looking at some Little House Needlework Christmas designs yesterday - they have some really lovely ones. Rosewood Manor also has some great Christmas freebies on their website!

Beautiful finish, the thread looks familiar, is it the same as the Believe you stitched for me? Thanks for the link to the chart too.
