All is going well, everything seems to be in place.
Yesterday, we spent a craft afternoon making paper cones from the pages of an old book. The cones are to put rice into for the guests to throw after the ceremony.
Of course, since I actually started writing this post we have had New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL, MY VERY DEAR FRIENDS.
We has a few friends over for New Year drinks, so we bought some new solar lights for the garden. This year I bought some lights which look like frangipani to put on the deck. So pretty!
These lights are just grouped together as we put them in a sunny spot for their initial charging. They are now placed strategically around the front and back gardens.
We finished the evening with these yummy macarons - delicious! The orangey ones are passionfruit and chili!
Marie, I and my Sunday dog took our first walk around PP for the year on NY's day. We were rewarded by the sight of this gorgeous little fellow - a red rumped grass parrot.
Now to the stitching:
Firstly, my progress on my Little Sheep Virtues SAL: Love. I am doing this SAL with Sarah, Lija and Anne.
Before:
Latest progress:
... and I finally got back to my PS Santa's 12 Days of Christmas, a SAL I am doing with Linda.
This SAL is now going quite slowly as I often get distracted by other projects and SALs but I am determined that 2015 is the year that I finish the 12 days - are you listening, Linda??? lol!
Just to finish, Google sent me this year in pics - not sure which ones they are - Enjoy!
Anyway, I am off to do some more wedding stuff - be back soon with another post, I am sure.
Have a great day,
hugs,

You must be getting very excited about the wedding!! A great way to plan for the rice. It is such fun to imagine New Year's Eve being warm. We stayed home rather than freezing off certain body parts! A very happy New Year to you and your family.
Nice stitchy progress Kaye. LOL I am listening. I've been working on the Santa's for 2 years and so want to be done with them.

The paper cones sound lovely. At my cousin's wedding they had bubbles to blow because their church doesn't like confetti. My son was only three and loved them so when we got married we had bubbles as well as confetti!

Great stitching and crafting going on here. I guess without the glue gun you would have been lost a bit with all these paper cones.
