I decided to stitch on one of my SDUCJC starts which was inspired by my dear friend, Shirlee from The Easily Influenced Stitcher, if you follow the link you can scroll down her 2014 finishes page to see her lovely stitching.
This is how much I had stitched before FNSI:
And here is dear Furio all ready to begin stitching:
... and this is where we finished last night. We ended up going to bed early as there is only so much tennis/soccer/cricket a girl and kitty cat can take (oh boy! Aussie males are just too sports mad - Australian Open (tennis), Asian Cup (soccer) and the myriad forms that international cricket takes now - too, too much).
Portion of aWinter Sampler by Leisure Arts
Stitched on 28 count antique white linen
DMC: 3750 (as used by Shirlee)
I should get this piece finished today and then I have some new starts from Pineberry Lane all set up for SDUCJC2015.
Have a great day, everyone, hugs

Dear Kaye, your Winter Sampler in blue is wonderful!
Yes, I did see that on Shirlee's blog and Carol's. How lovely. HUGS for you!
Looks beautiful Kaye. Love the blue thread. Hugs,xx
Love silhouette style patterns - they can be very striking and I love the blue you're using. Furio looks like he's all ready to get started.
Dang that's cute.... congrats. And I love that you have a stitching helper!
It's looking great! I have it in my to-do pile now also! I will join you in spirit with FNSI--heading upstairs right NOW!
Beautiful stitching Kaye. Your stitching partner is beautiful also - my cats don't let me stitch - they have to be on my lap and my hands have to be on them not my work!!!lol
Lovely stitching! It's always nice to have a "helper" too.
You can make me lunch anytime.. that looks delicious!
Wonderful progress Kaye. Such a pretty design. Love your helper.
Linda
A beautiful piece! Love your stitching companion. The pics give a good idea of the size of your work too. I'm enjoying what I can watch of the Australian Open tennis given the time difference.
Wow! You got a lot finished. What a very pretty design!
What a lovely freebie! Thanks for sharing the link
Looks like a nice relaxing piece to stitch, Kaye!

Your lunch looks delicious, please describe what is in it. What a perfect winter stitch. I did go to the link, thank you for sharing, the sampler is adorable.
That is a beautiful sampler. Thanks for sharing. I wish I had a kitty that likes to stitch.

Oh my goodness, Kaye - love the sampler. And Furio looks to be the best stitching helper....
Hugs
xxxx
Beautiful stitching, Kaye! I feel your pain - my husband watches nearly every sport he can and it's just too much. Hugs to Furio! :D
Lovely progress Kaye and your dinner looks delicious!
I am lucky, the other half is not so fond of sports, instead computer games!
I saw this on Shirlee's blog and thought it looked lovely. Welldone to Furio on his contribution too.
Love your stitching... and your stitching partner!!
I agree... too much sport can be very boring... can handle the cricket and the tennis but I am sorry to say soccer leaves me cold!!
Hugs xx
Great progress on the stitching!! Your lunch really did look yummy & healthy... makes my lunchtime soup look quite boring :)
A beautiful finish.
Some great stitching that the two of you were doing, lol. Thanks for the link to this wonderful freebie.
