We then played Scrabble and she beat me soundly (I have taught her well). Then she shouted TraderVic and I to movie tickets to see "Captain America: Civil War" as it happened to be our 34th Wedding anniversary, as well!
(Enjoyed the movie but probably not as much as the first two.)
So, in all another great day in Living in Eaglemont!
I hope that all of the other mothers out there were spoilt rotten, too!

Sounds lovely! Glad you had a good Mother's Day! I had a busy one (son graduating, moving him back home), but I was with my kids! Behind on blog reading. Very interesting about Jika Jika. Yikes! Loved seeing your old WIP that you picked up to work on again too.
Oh, those pancakes look like they could be in a food magazine, Kaye! So glad you had such a nice day... Love that you two play Scrabble as I play Words With Friends each night with my 89 year old mother (who beats me just as often as I beat her :)... Enjoy your week!

Hello Kaye, Looks as though you had a wonderful Mother's
Day. I must say that those pancakes looked amazing!!! My
mouth is watering here! And the bouquet of flowers is so pretty with so many different types of flowers in it. Love the colours.
Your dishes are beautiful! The tea pot and cups with those glorious pansies and trimmed in gold are stunning. I love those plates with the green borders and gold swirls a lot too. Makes everything taste even better when served that way.
Cheers!
Your daughter cooking blueberry pancakes for you - what a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day.
