The start of a Great adventure....

..... did not go smoothly at all!

You may remember that in my last post (on 12th December) I told you that we were about to set off on our European adventure but that I had had a bit of a tumble (playing with Furio in the back garden) and had hit my head rather badly on a metal garden arch?????

Well, you should have seen what happened to me over the plane ride....

[By the way, sorry that I have not been posting until now but I have had very intermittent wifi, difficulty getting my laptop to charge and have been superbusy seeing everything that there is to see!]

Warning!  I look a bit like I have done nine rounds with Mike Tyson - lol!

Initially, just a bit puffy!

Then the bruising starts to show.....

 At the airport.....

On the plane ..... (for 22 hours!)

.... and it just got worse and worse from there for a few days ...

but luckily, by now (over three weeks later, I am fine - Yay!)

Okay, next post I will try to show you some much prettier pics of London and the fun time we had with DD and DS2.

lots of hugs,

Oh my goodness Kaye. You do look like you've been in a battle. I fell on my knees on the 22nd and my left knee has a gigantic bruise and swollen but its not getting any better. I sure hope it improves in another week. Hope to see some stitching from you soon.

Oh my, Kaye, that looks like a not so good start of your adventure. And it also looks painful. I hope that it didn't last too long and that you could enjoy your European adventure.

OUCH! Did you live in sunglasses while it healed? Sounds like it didn't put too much of a damper on the festivities though I wonder if you got any questioning looks haha.
