The answer as to who sent it to me was soon revealed....
Yes, this stunning heart was stitched by the gorgeous Joysze from Random Ramblings.
Thank you so much, my Joysze, I love this heart dearly.
..... and who received my Valentine?
Love Never Fails
The Primitive Hare Freebie
Over-dyed lilac linen
Changes: beaded the word "Love" and changed the key to white
Pink floss is CC Cerise
Well, the recipient was none other than my very dear friend from across the continent, Stitching Noni from Fireflies and Cats in the Garden.
I hope that you enjoyed my heart as much as I enjoyed stitching it, Noni.

Your beaded word LOVE is so lovely, I wouldn't have thought to do that but it is really effective.
It was a great Blog Hop, such fun finding our own pieces and seeing who ours was from
Both stitches are so lovely. Next year I have to join up. I had no heart or valentine stitches done until yesterday. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

Great changes, Kaye! Those beads were such a pretty idea!
A lovely piece!
Although I didn’t join in this year, it was nice to see all the beautiful stitcheries.

PS did you see the bobsleigh race just now - Germany and Canada tieing for Gold! Wow! Exciting stuff!
Joysze's heart is just awesome, isn't it? And I love the colours of the piece you stitched and sent out - all the purple fabric and the red and white threads on it.
