Well, I have some big news to tell tonight. I am so excited! Next March DH and I are going on a long holiday to America!
I have been wanting to visit mainland U.S.A for a long time now and finally we are getting the opportunity to go. We are travelling to New York City, then Washington, we are then being picked up in Washington by friends who are going to take us on a road trip to Gettsyburg (I have always wanted to visit a Civil War battlefield) and then down to their home in Nashville, Tennessee and then the last stop is San Francisco and then home. We will be gone for a whole month. Have I mentioned that I am so excited! U.S.A here we come!

Wow, that's really exciting! You'll probably see more of the USA than a lot of us who live here... haha, it's easier to stay in one spot, I guess. :) I'm glad you have plenty of time for your trip!

Hi Kaye. What a wonderful trip you have planned. I think I'm jealous. LOL I've never been to any of those places. I do only live about 3 hours from San Francisco. Have fun. Take lots of pics.

How exciting! Not sure if you will pass through Kentucky but if you do wave to me. Nashville is about 3 hours from me. I know you'll have a great time.
I live close to Washington DC and my dad does renactment at Gettysburg a lot.
I am so jealous! What an amazing holiday you have planned. Hope you are taking a suitcase just for the lovely stash you will buy over there!
Hubby and I are planning a trip to Hawaii and a couple of the US states for my 50th in 2014.. I can't wait and that is 3 years away so I can well imagine how excited you must be with only 4 months til you go ;o)
