But first.... yesterday morning after writing that post - on the way to work my train dumped me at one end of the city from work - so I had to walk from one end of the city to the other to get to my office and then I misplaced my work fob so I couldn't even get in the building!
But, things did pick up and improve:
- Bag straps are fixed - TICK
- Watch has been sent to be repaired and a new battery put in another watch - so now I can tell the time - TICK
- Located my camera (left it at my girlfriend's place after Bookclub Xmas dinner) - TICK
- Located my work power cord (left it at the school where I gave my presentation) but have organised to have it returned to me - TICK
- I have nearly finished frogging Songs of the Season - TICK
- The walk to work when the trains played up was good exercise - TICK
- I found my work fob - TICK
then things really picked up.. we had our work team Christmas lunch - Thai food - yum! and had our KK - so much fun. I received a fondue set and some yummy Haigh's dessert chocolate to melt in it. Lovely!
and then it was my DF Evan's 30th birthday, so it was off for Birthday drinks after work and a good time was had by all!
So, really when I think about it - all of these issues are really 1st world problems and life is really pretty good.
So, an early Merry Xmas to you all,
from a very happy kitten.....
hugs,
