FNWF

Only a very little stitching done this FNWF - sorry, but I was just so exhausted (after a very busy week at work) on Friday night that I could barely pick up a needle.

I started my next Flower Fairy for the third round of my Joan Elliott RR - this very small start will eventually be Lavender Fairy.

Just to give you a reading update, I am currently rereading The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.  My DD and I went to see the movie the other night. We enjoyed it but we did feel that you needed to have read the books to fully enjoy the film.

Also, just wanted to leave you with the first roses from my garden:

hugs,

Any stitching counts.
We saw City of Bones the other week too. A good film, but some significant differences from the book I thought, quite a few characters missing completely (and no cat!)
Also neither Jace nor Magnus looked remotely like I'd pictured them.
Isn't always the way when you've really enjoyed a book. No one else's vision is ever going to match yours

It's a start!

I started reading City of Bones in my teabreak a couple of weeks back and had deja-vu all the way through. Then I realised I'd read a proof copy of it way back before it was first released in paperback!

Hubby and I disagree on book or film first as a rule. I say book but he says film because he is never disappointed by a book if he's seen the film first but is frequently disappointed by films of books he likes.

Kaye you have made a start, which is better than not, especially after a hard week!

Nice start on your Lavender Fairy. I saw the Mortal Instruments movie too. We enjoyed it, even though I didn't know anything about the book. It was nice to see a movie without any well-known actors.
