Bad Times at the El Royale ....

Last night, TraderVic and I went to see "Bad Times at the El Royale" and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.  Whilst it is violent (it is rather a homage to Quentin Tarantino after all), it is a slick, clever, noir thriller with some clever twists and turns and especially great performances by Cynthia Elviro, Lewis Pullman and, of course, the wonderful Jeff Bridges. The rather gorgeous Jon Hamm and Chris Hemsworth are part of the ensemble cast whilst Dakota Johnson is pretty good, too.

So, if you are looking for your next film to go see I can recommend this one but just be warned there is quite a bit of violence (it is rated R, after all).
