Happy Dance....

'
Last night I had a Happy Dance as I finished this sweet design from JBW Designs, "NOEL".

I am so pleased with this finish as I only completed it in 8 days!

Any ideas as to how best to Finish it?  I would live some suggestions (the finished design size is just under 7" by 7").

Well, must do some work now.

Hugs, Kaye

So pretty and I love that red thread! Great job! It would finish wonderfully many ways--what about a pillow to put out during December?? It would be nice framed, too, if you have a place for it!! I'm sure whatever you decide will be great!

Oh that is lovely! Perhaps the lid for a round box?

Congrats on your finish! I would think a hoop display or a round ornament :)

Love it! What about a nice table mat? To display at Christmas time?

It's a pretty piece. I'd either finish it in to a round pillow, or put it in a round frame and pad the frame so it stands out. I would not put a mat around it as it would be too busy I think.

Scrapbook!!!

Default answer these days. I do love my scrapbook :-)

It's a lovely design, the red looks really good on the creamy fabric. Is it DMC 115 or some fancy hand-dyed thread?

It's gorgeous! Love that red you used! Can you make it into a round ornie??

This is such a beautiful cross stitch!! I love the different reds, it makes it sparkle. I'd frame it and hang it all year round, it's too pretty to only show at Christmas.

It's gorgeous Kay! What thread did you use?

How pretty, Kaye--I just love JBW designs! How about a round finish as a basket lid or maybe surround it with an artificial pine wreath?

I did this a few years ago. Mine is custom framed in a simple gold frame with a circular burgandy mount which matched some of the darker shades in the thread.

That is very pretty Kaye! Love the red you used for it. I think I would finish it as a round pillow; cant wait to see that you decide to do with it.

I'm hopelessly behind with blog reading and commenting but I have just read your last couple of posts. SO at least I read everything, lol.

Your new finish looks gorgeous, I love these monochromes very much. I think I'd finish is as a little pillow with some red cording all around the edges. I'm very curious to see what you will decide.

What a pretty finish. Love the red thread :o)
I think it would love as a hanging on a Christmas style quilt hanger or even just using a dowel as a hanger :o)
Can't wait to see what you do.
