We had all gone out for dinner at Boat Quay where we met up with some friends who are currently living in Singapore.
We had a very yummy dinner of very fresh seafood and other delicacies.
... and from our table we had a view of the river and the light show.
On the walk back to our hotel, we visited another great hotel of Singapore, The Fullarton and then Merlion Park (the Merlion is the symbol of Singapore).
Don't you love this painting? |
Out hotel was ubiquitous - you could see it from almost anywhere! |
Singapore is almost on the equator - so even at night is is quite warm. So, we each bought an ice cream sandwich from a street vendor for a $1. He just cut a slice off a huge block of ice cream and placed it between two wafers and voila! This one is choc mint!
I hope that you enjoyed these photos - my next holiday post will still be in Singapore (boy, did we pack a lot into 3 days!).
hugs,
