This weekend was International Hermit and Stitch Weekend (IHSW) which incorporates Friday Night Sew In (FNSI). Both are virtual stitch-ins, which stichers, quilters and other crafty people take part in from all over the world - pretty neat, hey?
You can read about my rather successful (including a Happy Dance) FNSI this month here. And I would have to say that my IHSW was most successful this month with not one more not two more but THREE more Happy Dances).
First up, I teased you all last post with this pic....
Which became this.... The Stitching Bee by LHN
The Stitching Bee, was a kit (except the backing fabric and the button, 'cos I couldn't find the button that came with the kit but once I had FFOed it, there was the button after all but "Too Late", she cried!) which came as part of my A Little help from my friends subscription from The Silver Needle.
Then, I was so inspired by how well the finishing turned out on The Stitching Bee, that I FFOed these two sweet designs.
On the right, "A Spot of Spring" by The Drawn Thread, which I finished stitching in May, 2017! On the left is an unknown design (I do try to always label my designs when I post but sometimes I obviously don't! lol!) but it is still a sweet finish!
All of the fabrics, finishings and trims have come from my stash - phew! Gotta use it up sometime!
I also found some time to put a few stitches into this design from Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornament Issue 2007. It is Julia Lucas Designs - Deck the Halls.
And some more stitches on the big bear on the first of the two baby quilts I am stitching.
You can check out what others have done for IHSW by visiting the IHSW FB page.
But before I go, I did want to remind you to check out my 1000th Post Giveaway,
which I would love for you to enter.
Stay safe and well, my dear friends.

Wow Kaye some lovely stitching going on there and great finishes .
Have a fun week.
Kaye, You were certainly on a roll with finishing!! Doesn't it feel good to have 3 more sweet pillows to display. They are all so pretty. I think I bought that bee pattern...now I have to look as your sweet finish makes me want to stitch it. Lovely finishing on all 3!!
WOW! That is some great progress there! All your projects are wonderful and those little pillows are exquisite-that finishing is just perfection!
Oh wow, I love the fabrics you put together for those finishes, the bees are my favourite!
You did a great job of fully finishing. That is my least favorite part of stitching!!
Such cute finishes, Kaye! I've always admired that bee kit, but rarely buy anything in kit form. I think I have the Spot of Spring chart--seeing yours makes me want to pull it out and get started :) Enjoy your day!
Wow!! Your pillows look fabulous!
Well done on the finishes, those are gorgeous! I love the fabric on the front as well, it's beautifully done. And even some stitching time too, lovely!
Those are pretty FFO's. I need to do some more. Some of them have been waiting since longer than 2017!
I'm curious - Do the dark lines that you are stitching over on your big bear quilt wash out or will they provide further definition for the outline of the bear?
You did have a successful weekend! Did you ever complete the other two Spots? We did Winter and Spring but then I think you had a blogging break and we never did the other two!
What pretty little pillows.
