Advice please ... ...

I am hoping for some finishing advice please.

I have now stitched two of these little bunnies.

..... and I want to finish them in a similar way to the picture below.

So, I found some lovely fabbie in my stash and jaunted off to Darn Cheap Fabrics (go have a quick look at their website - it is rather funky and cool) to get some trims.  Well, I came home with three different options and now I cannot make up my mind!

So, I am looking for advice from you lovely people.  Which do you like best?  The cream, the cream/brown or the burgundy?

Maybe I will just need to stitch a third bunny so that I can use all three options.... now that is an idea!

By the way, this is my 400th published post!  Wow!  I do like to talk a lot!

So, to celebrate, I will stitch a third bunny and one of you lovelies can be the lucky recipient but you must comment on this post and tell me which of the trims is your favourite!

You will have until this Sunday lunchtime (Australian Eastern Standard time) to enter (as I think that Sunday afternoon will be my first chance to get to my sewing machine).

hugs,

Oh, touch decisions but I think I like the cream one best with your fabric. The chocolate bad cream seems too casual but I like that trim too. So, my vote is the cream one (with all the little bunny tails)!

That comment should have said "tough" decisions, not touch!

I like the cream one too. That fabric is very pretty.

Another vote for the cream one! Love the fabric.

Congratulations on your 400th post. I am visiting for the first time after seeing your bunny picture on Shez's blog roll.......so very cute. I'd choose the white trim.

I like the middle one the best

Congratulations on your 400th post :) What an achievement indeed!
I love your cute bunnies and oooh fabric decisions! I like the last one, is it burgundy? I think it complements your beautiful flowery fabric wonderfully.
Great idea to try all of the trims on bunnies... they all do look good :)
Well I will hop out of here now!
Smiles :)

Gorgeous stitching :-D I love the contrast of the burgundy but the cream also looks lovely.

Congratulations on 400 posts, Kaye. I'd go for the top one as my first choice with the burgundy one my second. I'm sure whichever you use will look beautiful!

That's a tough one. I think I like the cream best, the burgundy second. :D Congrats on 400 posts!

Big congrats on 400 posts!!! I love your bunnies and I love the 2nd option as I like how the brown links to the bunnies. The cream is pretty too...I can see your dilemma x

Wow, 400 posts! Not too shabby at all!!! :)
I love your bunnies.... And you so have to use the pom pom trim... Perfect little bunny tails to add to the finished pillow :) love the fabric you have chosen.

I would also choose the cream one.

400 posts?! Wow! Congrats!
Ok....I do like them all.....but I'm going to go with the burgandy...it "pops" against the fabric...the cream just blends and to me seems to get lost in the fabric (which is gorgeous by the way!)

Your Bunnies are lovely Kaye.
I also love the cream trim best, but agree the cream and brown match the Bunnies very well.
Good luck with your final choice.
Cheers R.

Your bunnies are so cute.Congrats to so many visitors.
When looking at your fabric, which I do like very much, I would prefer the burgund trim.
Happy finishing and I am so lokking forward what you wil make?

Congrats on your 400th post - WOW!
I absolutely love the beautiful fabric you selected.
I vote for the cream trim. Why? I think the lace design just above the pom poms is so pretty.
The 2nd trim works very well too because it ties in the color of your bunny and picks up the same color in the fabric making look richer.
I would love to be entered for your giveaway.
love Annette

I think I prefer the cream trim .x

I love Little stitcher designs! I think all trims look lovely but my favourite is the white one maybe because it is the most lacy one and I love lace!AriadnefromGreece!

I personally think the cream one would look best on your finish! As you said, maybe one of each would be a great idea too :)

I love all three, but the cream one would be my choice :)

Aww such sweet bunnies!

I like the cream...the first picture. But I also think that is a great idea to make another bunny and use all three, too.

Happy 400th post! :)

I say stitch another one and have one of each :) Seriously - I like the first option the best.

I like the cream/brown trim!

LOL! Good luck with your decision, everyone likes a different one, so someone likes them all.

Me, I would choose the middle one because the trim ties the brown of the bunnies together with the fabric.

They will all be lovely. You could always flip a coin...
Hmmmmmmm I wonder which one YOU will choose.

congratulations on your 400th post!
seeing as there are two cross stitcheries can I pick two out of the three options? I love them all but if I had to narrow it down I prefer the cream and the brown..
thanks for the link to that cross stitch design.

Adorable bunnies Kaye! My personal favorite is the cream and brown trim but the cream is also very pretty, like the little baubles on it. Congratulations on your 400th post and thanks for the opportunity to win one of your cute bunnies! Deb

The cream one - the bunny then stays as the standout!! Fabric is beautiful!

Thank you for letting me know about the giveaway, Kaye. I've fallen so far behind on blog reading!

I love the first option. For some reason it just makes me smile.

I think the cream looks best : )

Melissa said...

Congrats on your 400th post! Amazing :) My favourite of the trims is the very first one, the ivory one. I think it blends the x-stitch and the fabric you've chosen perfectly.

Jo who can't think of a clever nickname said...

The burgundy trim would be my choice.

At first I was looking at the three fabrics thinking you meant different colourways of those and I thought "they all look the same to me..."

Terri said...

I like the burgundy one. Congrats!!

Kay said...

These ar edarling. My favourite is the burgandy, but I really do like them all. Thanks for a lovely giveaway.

Brigitte said...

This is definitely not an easy one. I think I would opt for the cream one, but then the burgundy doesn't look bad either, These are the kind of decisions which make my finishing days so difficult, lol.

Hi Kaye, not sure if I am late. Just found out about your giveaway. I like the middle trim the best, then the top one, and bottom last. But they are all wonderful and the bunnies are well cute.

Anyhow I am off to the shops to buy ingredients for a birthday cake. I can't believe a quarter of a century already passed!

I think I'm on time Kaye! It's 8am here. Congrats on your 400th post! That's a lot of posts! Good for you. I always mean to post more but never do. Humm, the bunny trim dilemma. I think the cream and the cream/brown are the best for the trims. The crimson is nice but maybe distracts a bit from the bunny. That's my two cents! Hugs!

I don't know if I'm on time!!! I never memorized the time zones!!! But, regardless, congrats on your 400th post!!!! Your stitching is fun and I've enjoyed looking over your blog!!!

And I forgot to say that I like the middle trim best, because it's different!!! However, all look good with the fabric--you made 3 good choices!
Sorry--I got excited and commented before I was finished above!!! LOL
