"....iberty Lane" and a cute bunny

Well, even though I stitched as fast as I could, the thread won and I ran out of Cornflower a letter and a half before the end! Everything else is stitched, now I just need to wait for my LNS to get some more thread in (it is on order).

So, yesterday, I decided to stitch this little bunny from The Little Stitcher. It is a freebie which you can find on her blog here.

I like him so much, I am going to stitch a friend for him on the train on the way to work this morning!

I hope that you all had a very happy Easter,

hugs,

Isn't it annoying when you run out of thread, especially so close to the end! Cute bunny, Kaye.

So frustrating! I feel for you!
Have just had the same thing happen to me with DMC 333! I always worry that the colour is going to be different when I have to change thread batches!!! I am loving your Liberty Lane though - looks great!
and your cute little bunny... great finish :o)
Hope you had a wonderful Easter!
Hugs xx

Groooan! Don't you Hate that when that happens! Or having 4 skeins of one color, you need two for a project, and None of them go together so you have to buy two more. Yep, I just did that. You have officially made me want to stitch Liberty Lane. I hope you are proud of yourself. 😀

Beautiful stitching! I understand about running out of thread. I was stitching a prayer for my daughter "From Mother to my Darling Girl" and I ran out of thread for the heading. I got as far as "From Moth" - talk about PANIC!! But I managed to cough up some matching thread so it's now complete. ARG!

OHHH there is nothing worse than running out of thread when you just needed that extra little bit.

I can totally relate.

Ugh!

How annoying. I personally call it 'the law of the thread' when you just can't make it last, especially if you have just a couple of stitches to go. x

Lovely bunny! Running out of thread is frustrating. Been there and done that myself. Your sampler is beautiful. love Annette

That' one of my pet peeves when the thread runs out just before finishing a design or also a colour section. Hopefully the new dye lot will match the old one. But as it is a new letter it wouldn' t be visible.
